Building Surveys, Property Services and professional advice from an experienced Sidcup Surveyor
The former district and parish of Sidcup lies in the London Borough of Bexley in Greater London, Kent.
Sidcup developed from a tiny hamlet situated on the route between Maidstone and London, which comprised a small number of houses on one street.
Despite the somewhat derogatory comments by the comedian James Corden, a number of substantial Victorian and Edwardian houses still exist and sit alongside typical suburban homes. The many open spaces and parks give clues that great estates and residences that once stood there.
A number of important manor houses and buildings remain, and have since been converted from substantial residential properties to other uses. The listed 17th Century country mansion, Frognal House, which was built on the site of a tenement building, is now a nursing home. Lamorbey Park, is a Grade II listed building which was once the Caretaker’s House. The 18th Century Sidcup Inn later became the Black Horse public house on the high street.
With building surveys to suit every property and budget and our dedicated team’s extensive knowledge of Sidcup, we can provide comprehensive, quality advice you can trust. We will help guide you all the way through your property purchase, getting to know you and the property on an individual level.
